Here's the lowdown:
Math Chapter 12 Test on Wednesday -- this is a continuation of Chapter 11. Students are practicing multiplying double-digit numbers.
Spelling Unit 13 test on Friday.
S.S. quiz over Chapter 5, lesson 2 on Friday.
We are working on a country research report in class. Students are learning to find and paraphrase information in a three-paragraph format.
In health, we are studying the nervous system, the eye, and the skeleton. Students are making models in class to learn more.
In reading, we are focused on author point of view (persuade, inform, entertain) as well as using Venn Diagrams as graphic organzers of nonfiction material.
